Hi i have been asked to copy an existing design but all I have is a copy of the cut vinyl.
My questions is what is the best way to find out the font?
and the best way to copy the whole design?
    I have illustrator.
    Tia

We do lots of this for bodyshops when the original sign maker cant be found.
we start off by taking good side on photos of the design and sizing in Signlab. We then either ask for help on the boards to identify the font or use http://www.what the font. If there are shapes and other parts to the design we hand draw these as vector shapes. Rich
