• Sign Lab 5

    Hi,
    I’m Hayley from the Isle of Wight, I have a little sign business and I am having problems with a pdf file of my logo, I converted it to a eps, but cannot open it in signlab 5, Ive tried opening and resaving in Corel Draw, but sill no joy, all I want to do with the files is the cut the waves on the design, maybe I should just find some new waves, can someone please help me I’m going stir crazy and spending so much time on this I’m not making any money, kids driving me mad as it’s school holiday help help

    Hi Hayley sometimes SL does have a fit opening files, especially eps files, I have found. Try saving as an ai file, try importing it then. I don’t think you can upload files without membership, otherwise we could have a go for you.

    Hayley, back save the .ai file as far as you can to an early version (6 or 7).
    Also try the same with the .eps version). The older import code for SL5 can’t handle the newer file types.

    Have you had import problems before with eps as early Signlab had an incorrect entry in the import filter which can be corrected in Notepad.
