  • D.C. Hoult, excellent service

Just wanted to let you know, I had a banner delivered this morning, less than 24 hours after ordering, from DC Hoult, http://www.bannerblank.co.uk
Really good prices, half of another co. I tried off the UKSB toolbar, good range of colours too.
I phoned to thank them, they actually made and sent out the banner within a few hours, can’t get much better than that!

well done lorraine, half the price of a toolbar supplier!!

I suppose it proves the toolbar although useful is for lazy buyers, there is bargains to be had out there.

It is amazing how many suppliers buy in from other people and we think they are the makers. I will add these to my favourites

    Hi Gordon

The suppliers on the toolbar are there on recommendation of members of this site, not because they have paid to be up there. It was just fortunate that I came across Hoult’s when googling blank banners, so gave them a call. I don’t know if they are always the ‘best’ for value, I was more impressed with the service they gave.

no disrespect meant Gordon, but a little confused by your reply…

The toolbar is FREE to use, its also FREE to be added too but on recommendation or current known "trade suppliers".

I am sure there are tons more suppliers out there that can be found on google or maybe even in the sign magazines but certainly none all under one roof, so to speak. IF and When we come across new ones, they will be added too…

    as "you" said…

So having heard Lorraine’s experience of this company, is this not what your actually doing for yourself Gordon… creating your own form of toolbar?
and now you have, will you regard yourself as lazy for using it in future?

    anyway…

Your very touchy Rob, were did I say that tool bar suppliers pay for being on the toolbar?

Rob, I HAVE CREATED MY FAVOURITES, ME.

Somebody else created the toolbar, so how am I lazy using suppliers that I have sought out?

I thought this was a discussion board, why are you jumping down my throat?

I will refrain from posting from today, I can simply do without the hassle

I do think that comment deserved a response to counter what was being implied. Robs response didn’t come across to me as "very touchy", merely a clarification of the toolbars purpose.

    Now who’s being "touchy" 🙄 :lol1: :lol1:

Why not make your own blank banners Lorraine?

Banner material is inexpensive , eyelet machines are not overly expensive and Rob’s tutorial video shows you how……….

    Hi John

Have you seen the colours available now? 😮

In fact I made a 10 ft x 2ft banner last night, (white) I already have the equipment, the customer for the ordered-in job wanted mid-grey, and there wasn’t time to get one printed & back by today.
