Just use the import feature in X4. If its still a vector all good and well, otherwise you will have to trace it.

A PDF is an AI mate 😉

Corel will read the PDF in and make best ‘convesion’ it can so u can edit it. If your just printing with it, then just print without editing it.

It may have been sent as a pdf but it could still be a jpeg it is not necessarily a vector

A Pdf is just a collection of files embedded in a document that can be read independant of the platform the original is written on. e.g. created on Mac and opend on a PC…………..

Its the same with Eps files. You will only get a vector out if a vector was embedded in the first place.

If the Pdf has bitmaps, you will have to break the document apart to get the component you want. If it is an ai, all well and good, otherwise you will have to trace it.
