    HELP!

I am trying to convert my image from CorelDraw and import it into Composer.

I usually just convert the text to curves and then export it as an ai or eps…..then import it into Corel and I am away, but for some reason I cannot convert……the software just switches itself off.

Has anyone got any suggestions of what I can do to to over-come this??

    Cheers

    Morning,
one thing you might try, which has worked for me is to install the particular font that you’re using in Corel into your GSP fonts. Then just export as an EPS without converting to curves. It should import without any fuss.

    Good Morning Dale

Thanks for that – I did try and convert the font, but it says ‘cannot write softfont’

I haven’t got a clue what that means!!!!

But thanks for trying to help.

    Cheers

    Stacey,

Have you tried breaking the font apart and converting it to curves in smaller chunks?

I’m not really sure why that is happening for you but breaking apart might be worth giving a go

Sounds like it’s only the screen fonts you have and not the printer font. I’m not a Corel user but same thing happens in Illustrator if you do not have the printer font open
