busy connecting the new graphtec fc7000 mk2 to run from signlab alongside the cadet pluswhen sending to the cadet everything is fine as normal
but sending cut job to the graphtec it is increasing the size of the job x 4
managed to get round it with the graphtec settings where you can set it to cut 1/4 size
i must have a setting out somewhere but cannot find it

What version of Signlab is it?
If it’s a recent version you can adjust the resolution by going to the setup button in plotter setup, then plotter options tab. If it’s cutting 4x size & the resolution is set to 1016, then you change it to 254.
If it’s an older version (version 5.0 for example) then you can adjust it in the ini file. Press alt & e whilst in plotter setup to bring up the ini file in notepad. You then adjust the figure in the scale option (it will be the last number in the line)

morning guys
Brian i am on version 8.1
tried resetting to 2540 but this alters the size by approx 2.5 increase

254 not 2540!
What number was there before you altered it? you need to divide the original number by 4 if it was cutting 4x size…
-
hi brian only have 2 options
1016 and 2540
will try and post a screen shot with the optionsderek

Haven’t got Signlab where I am at the moment. But as I recall you click the advanced box & change the values in there, maybe the option below the one you are changing?

cheers Brian changed the values to 254 and seems ok now

You should leave the setting as 1016 in Signlab and alter it in the cutter.
I had the same problem when I first got my FC7000.
It’s in the menu…..somewhere…! -
hi neil might be the wrong setting in the graphtec .
i found you could set it to 1/4 and this worked but
this needed to be reset every job
will look to see if their is another menu page to changederek

I had a look and couldn’t find the step size option – it used to be in the interface menu. Maybe it’s changed with new firmware?
You can alter the scale in the "function 1" menu.
Mine is set to 1 which should be the default. Remember to press enter after you change it or it will reset next time. -
hi neil thought i had it sussed but it keeps resetting after every cut or if its switched on or off
i will have to sit and go through all the set up processderek
