    Hi All,

I had this happen to me some time ago but it went away on its own. What happens is, when I my grenadier is printing registration marks it sprays magenta lines at the same time. Has anyone else had this problems. It only does it when print reg marks.

I was thinking maybe I need to clean the encoder strip, what do I use to clean the encoder strip?

    Thank for any help.

You could try cleaning the encoder strip and checking that no debris is on the head base.

    Hi there

Is it firing the line onto the vinyl, or is it like a drag mark from something ??

If its the first I’d say its the printhead due to go. If its just a drag mark then I’d agree with the previous post and make sure no fibres are on the head

    Hi John,

Its only just started to do it, and it only does it went printing crop marks. Prints fine when printing prints without crop marks. It did it once before but it went away on its own.

    Hi John,

I don’t think its my head about to go, as my grenadier prints perfectly. it only sprays these light magenta lines when printing crop marks, but when printing the image that I want then its faultless. I haven’t even got any banding.

Its a strange one. I’ll just have to live with it and make boarders bigger so the lines don’t go on the image that I’m printing.
