  Toolpath studio error message

  Hey guys, I use toolpath studio 2001 for axyz 4008 machine. Now I’m getting an error message (error locating security device 1). has anybody ever come across this & how to fix it ? I’m certain that the dongle is working correctly. Thanks.

  hi
  i dont have toolpath studio but toolpath without dongle, but ur message does point towards the dongle and driver… maybe re-install time

  Get this with Engravelab, sometimes a double computer restart fixes it, first time without the dongle.

  Is it USB or parallel??

  Re-installation ,might just be the only way alright. It’s a USB dongle. Seems to be ok though. Lights functioning & will install on another PC.
