    Quick question can a halftone fade be produced in signlab??

    Need to produce some motorcycle stickers but they have a halftone fade on them, any ideas??

    You can if you have the thermal package, There are halftone palettes, but need to be used with spot colours

    I dont think there is another way to do it in signlab

    Create you fade / gradient as normal and then use the
    Image – Filters – Stylize / Artistic – Halftone.

    It converts to a bitmap, but will apply a halftone effect.

    In Photoshop…. do ur fade with gradient tool… then Convert to 1bit Black and White, the half tone dots option is in there and make sure u match the printers resolution and make them round or diamond.

    Import this image to SL, colour it to what u want.
