Hi all, can anyone help me with some quick answers please?

we have been asked to produce some car window stickers and thought that static cling would be ideal for this, however i have never used it.

Does it come in white or is it clear and would i be able to print on it with my versacamm?

    Cheers

It comes in both, and yeah you can print it with your versacamm. I would go with the clear though and back it off in white as it clings better.

The white is ok but doesn’t stick as well as the clear.

Thats my take on it anyhow.

Hi Gary, thanks for the reply.

I was wondering about the white so that i wouldnt have to laminate with white onto clear.

    cheers

I questioned the Metamark rep about the white and he did show me how to get it to work. Basically he mounted it onto the window direct from the backing paper which created enough static to make it cling if that makes sense, we left it there a couple of weeks without issue but I don’t think customers will want to do that and can just see problems so will go down the route of clear backed off white in future.

It’s much easier to make it stick if you wet the glass first 😀

Does it stay there once the wet has dried?
