    Hi All

Just thought i would pass on this as it could be useful to others.

I have just come across a adhesive cleaner made by evo-stik it comes in a 250ml tin and is designed for the removal of solvent adhesives, and boy is it good 😀 (!) just wipes the adhesive straight off. a job that was taking sooooooo long with white spirit now takes seconds. it cost £2.95 from the local hardware shop.

Best product i have come across and i have use lots of different ones in the past

    Hi Warren

    No number on it

mostly red rectangle can with ‘evo-stik’ logo at top, ‘new improved formula’ on a banner of yellow and black and then a large ‘Adhesive Cleaner’ lettering across centre of can. a strap line of ‘removes solvented adhesives, grease & wax’

hope that helps, good stuff, if a bit smelly! the coshh info does not make to good reading ether! but unlike some adhesive removers it does do what it says on the tin, removes adhesives!, not just move them round into a sticky gooey mess!

    Hello Paul,
Just trawling through past posts looking for a recommended effective adhesive remover, is this suitable for painted surfaces on cars, vans etc?

    Many thanks
    Jeremy

I suggest that if you find a good adhesive remover you should stick to it 😉
