  Colour Fades – Not printing correctly ? help required please

  Hi folks – Can anyone explain to me what is happening with my printing fades , is it a result of changing over to 3rd party inks on SP540 ? Does everyone have this issue or is it the particular brand i bought? Inktec

  Previously – Fading from green to black went green to black , now I have green / purple/blue then black , Same for yellow to black or any colour to black fade, it turns purple / blue in the middle?

  If this is what happens with all third party inks then i will change back to Roland or is there 3rd party inks that this does not happen with?

  When i fade from say 2 blues its fine and all my spot colours are the same or close as , I can show photos but i don’t think you can put them up on this section,

  Unless it is the same job you are printing it may not be the inks. Try saving the file as a tiff and try again.

  I had issues just yesterday when printing an eps file with a fade. I eventually printed it as a tiff with no problems.

  Worth a try maybe?
