    Hey guys/gals,

Have been printing with my Versacamm VP300 for a couple years now and run into a problem when trying some new media.

I have always used the Roland ESM vinyl GCVP with great printing results, but I dont like how it shrinks so easily around the edges when the prints cure.

I have a roll of Oracal gloss vinyl 3460 and like the way it doesnt shrink as much and it seems like a better media.

But I do have one problem I cant seem to figure out with the Oracal.

Both vinyls are 3 mil, and I have had problems getting the Oracal profiles to work right in Flexisign, so I just use the Roland media print outputs in Flexi Sign for both medias since I have such good print output with the Roland media profiles and since both medias are the same 3mil thickness I figure the machine wont notice.

The prints come out perfect on the Oracal vinyl using the Roland profile except for two colors: Dark Red and Dark green.

When the red hits a certain dark shade and also the green, I get bands in the print when its finished. Slightly darker shade bands than the red or green color I am trying to print throughout those particular color areas. I can print a full color image with other colors in it and when any area of the print has a dark red or dark green area, I always get the darker shades of banding within these colors. Even on the same print all the other colors look perfect, the dark banding line areas only appear in those two colors or dark colors close to the red and green hues.

Does anyone know what setting I might try adjusting within Flexi that would affect these dark bands within these colors when I print?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

media feed calibration and a little bit to high on the total ink levels. browns and dk greens are the worst.
try adding .1% at a time to the feed calibration till you start to see a light line , then back a bit, and a total ink load no more thank 230.
