  • Big day for me tomorrow!! Installation of new Printer

Yes this is it. The JV33 and its plotter are being installed tomorrow.

I have had since ordering it at SignUK to totally revamp my workshop (build stud walls to create an office, and have a real good clean out) as well as keep production going. It was quite an ugly sight at times but tomorrow will be well worth the last few weeks of hard work!

This new 1370 will just be a fantastic thing to have and I look forward to working it hard!

    Wish me luck!!

    Well done Craig.

A good decision, and I’m sure you’ll get on well with it.

Well done Craig – I share your enthusiasm. It’s like when you were a kid waiting for Christmas 😀

Enjoy your new piece of Kit – I’m sure it will be good for business

We have the same with the CG FX plotter. What RIP did you get?

New printer Harry. I have been running a JV3 760 for 2 years now.

But things haven’t run smooth today. The plotter was installed very quick and uses finecut through CS2 – no problem. The printer on the other hand has been a nightmare to install and is still not working. The printer seems to be having a personality crisis as it does not know what it is and what inks it should be using when it discovers what it is itself!

The engineer has been fantastic though and has been on the phone on and off to Hybrid all day. We are now awaiting advice from the head office in Japan to solve the problem.

    The RIP is Shiraz Jon.

Roll on tomorrow – Thanks for your comments guys
