Mactac 9800 supplier
Posted by M Brown on 5 June 2009 at 12:10Hi All,
Where do you get your Mactac 9800 from and what price do you pay per metre and delivery cost. I just phone up my local supplier and was quoted £16.50 for delivery. I nearly fell over. All my other suppliers of other makes only charge £8.00 for delivery

maybe down to depot but ill choose andersons on mactac any day.
been messed about so much by the glasgow amari branch its beyond a joke. 🙄 dont get me wrong, have some great products, good deals etc but i tend to leave them to last to call just out of experience. sad thing is we used to spend thousands each month with them, then all went to pot. 🙄 -

Excellent service from Andersons, perhaps one or two too many calls in a month seeing if I’m needing anything – but always courteous & helpful. Occasionally they have good offers on and keep you updated.
Amari Glasgow have been looking to bring me back with various promises of having sorted out the issues that led me to drop them…maybe they have – maybe they haven’t…as you, it’s a last resort (sadly).

We get all out 9800 from Pyramid Display, just make sure you ask for it to be put on a log role and to make sure its not scuffed. (that goes for everything)

Mac 98 is my favourite reliable vinyl, but I am getting peeved with pyramid…….. the first 300mm+ on a roll is scuffed beyond use, and you may end up with 3 or 4 odd sizes to make up your required length of the order. They also sometimes wind 2 different colours on the same tube ! … which is highly inconvenient. ( whinge over, use andersons )

I have notices Alan most suppliers have seemed to of dropped putting rolls in plastic sleeve, I’m also finding the first few hundred mm are scuffed.
I’m going to give Andersons a go as they seem on the bal, recently Amari have been cocking up 🙄 🙄
