    Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone one here would be able to help me with directions on how to print silver and gold spot colours.

Since we have had the printer we have never been able to get it to work.

I am using Corel X3 on WindowsXP, the cartridges are Apollo AP-MG Mirror Gold and the barcode on the bottom reads 22 Blue.

Please would anyone be kind enough to post an idiot’s step-by-step on getting it to work?

Any help as always greatly appreciated.

    Thank you, Cath

    Cath,
The barcode you have is blue 22 so unless you use a blue fill in your design so it will use that code it will not print. You need to use the correct userinks pallette in corel and then have the correct barcodes on the carts for it you work.

    Alex.

    also,
if you have already installed ‘user defined’ palette in corel, you can choose blue from that palette, or fill your object or text with r:0 g:0 b:255
now, when you going to print, in printer driver choose spot colors, mark blue color
you will see – printed color is gold, but if it’s not clear print work you need to change bar-code label at the bottom of cartridge
how to make any bar-code label, you will find searching this forum section
