Does anyone know where I can get some dark grey reflective/pearlescent vinyl? I have just seen some applied to a van and it appears to be reflective vinyl and is dark grey but without an obvious reflective appearance and has a silver back. Ive never seen anything in this colour before but it must be out there somewhere 🙂
It changes to a bronzey colour when you catch it in the light,
Any help would be much appreciated 😀

Is it not just black reflective Jayne as that has the appearance you described?

No I dont think it is as I had a Hexis swatch of black reflective that was significantly darker then the grey on the van and it would have had to fade drastically for it to look the same.

I can only think it may be a carbon fibre effect vinyl 🙄

Its got me puzzled as the grey looked completely flat in colour and yet it was definitely a reflective and peeled off in tiny bits like reflective does

we used a fair bit of this in the past. as George says, ide guess it was black also but its not black as we know it. "i would guess" it was mactac, maybe oracal but i think more Mactac from the time when we actually used it.
a swatch would probably not give you the sort of effect of the colour jane… ide give some a call and see who can give you a sample.

oh and i said hello to your hubby at signuk/hilton, good to meet him. 😀

    Hi Jayne,

I think what your looking for is Avery Black reflective.

Just checking a piece we have and it does look a bit bronze coloured in the light.
