    Hi Team.

not posted in this section before, partly because i have not needed to.

Anyhow, the partner of one of the lads that works here has asked if we can ‘sponsor’ some T shirts for her friends and colleagues to wear when they do a ‘Walk for Life’ type event in June of this year. She wants to use a photo print with some text on the shirts.
As a Company we have our own in house sign shop. we have a Epson D88 printer with bulk Rotech inks, a Gerber edge,a vinyl plotter and press mech Heat Press.

The D88 gets used for our own promo’ mugs as and when required.

The help i need is with the D88 .. i am assuming that i can use this to run the 70 odd prints off and use the heat press to transfer to Pink T shirts.

    Q.
What type of transfer paper do i need to be printing to?
Do i need T’s with polyester content?
Time and pressure for the heat press might be? (
I think i’ll need a base temp and time to start off with)
Decent supplier of cheap(its only a 1 day event) T shirts in pink?

Any tips pointers would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Darryl

    Darryl.
we don’t use an Epson 88, but when we do T-Shirts and we don’t doa a lot of them I get the few bits I need from The magic Touch. I find them good and always on the phone is you need help with anything. They have papers for all printers and materials. As for the T-Shirts, usually I let the client supply them, its not worth the hassle of holding different sizes, colours, styles. http://www.themagictouch.ie/

    Cheers Dermot

I was trying to remember that Co. Magic Touch.
I’ll have a look at the their web.

I don’t want or need to hold any stock. as i said in the post its more of a favour than anything else, but the experience should come in handy.

Try http://www.polo-shirts.co.uk/Womens+T-Shirts for a good selection of t-shirts.
