Hi i have a request to price a Volvo FH12 with logos etc and pin striping, thing is ive never done the pinstriping, my questions are do folk size up the panels and cut the striping in the full panel shape and just apply or do they still do it as single line, the other question is how do you price the pinstriping?

    cheers
    John

I’m not really a fan of pinstriping with vinyl, to me it never looks quite right, far better if you can get it hand painted.
But if I have to use vinyl I cut the corner shapes separately, then join up with stripes, it would be difficult though not impossible to cut and apply the striping accurately as one piece on such large panels.

John, don’t underprice it, to coach line a Volvo in Northern Ireland, going rate for coach lines is £180 – £220 for lining only.
