Rolls are cut down with a slitter, round flat blade.
You can use a pull down bench saw.
Make sure the roll is tight, use application tape to wrap the roll up tight.
Also use a fine tooth circular blade.
It won’t be perfect but will do the trick.
DON’T do this with rolls of application tape

Gordon get the supplier to slit this when ordering.
If application tape is not cut properly you will have nothing but problems pulling it out, it would just keep ripping.

Thanks for you help guys, I have found a company to professionally slit it for me for £5 a log.
I know you can get it done at UK vinyl suppliers, but this is coming in direct from europe so they will not do it.
client is supplying me with a 100 logs 1220 wide
