Is a Ford Tourneo a transit with windows?
I’ve got a customer with a transit with windows in the front panels only – just a brand new vehicle and the latest Impact disc doesn’t show anything like this. But there is a tourneo ………. wondered if I could use that and just change the windows on the back panels to white.

    :yes1:

From memory I’m not sure whether the Tourneo comes in wheelbases other than short, though, so you might like to check exactly what you’ve got there.

it’s the 2009 v29 disc I have. Those files are the Tourneo, that’s what I was looking at wondering if it’s the same thing. 😀

Thanks JC. I assume you can get windows put in to any transit then?

Oh yes, although the Tourneo comes out of the factory like that. We have some customers who put windows in the sliding door, and sometimes the corresponding panel on the other side, to make crew-cab sort of thingies out of ordinary vans.

Not just Transits either, we’ve had a few Trafic/Vivaros here with similar conversions, and I’m sure other manufacturers will offer similar.

Just found out it’s a LWB JC. So the Tourneo is no use afterall, will just use a LWB transit.

    thanks 😀
