Cutter not cutting full letters, help needed?
Any idea why my cutter is not cutting full letters it always stop about 2mm away from the starting point?
Any idea why
i have artcut software(i know not the best but it worked fine b4)
and a 53"cuttermod-edit

This happens to us sometimes I don’t always know why but sometimes its simply a bit of vinyl stuck to the plotter and this creates a wee are that doesn’t cut?

The vinyl is loose when going into the cutter

Sorry Aaron – I mean just a wee tiny bit stuck down on top of the plotter not the actual vinyl being put into the plotter? it makes the blade jump? if you see what I mean?

If it isn’t completing letters then it is likely to be your ‘blade offset’ settings. Not sure where they are in your software but you need to adjust them and run tests to make sure it is set right.

Running test at the mo but havn’t a clue what i’m doing lol

I’m glad i joined uksb
The problem was in the software the plotter was set 0mm and it needed to be 2mm
