Just thought I’d share my experience with Victory’s ‘Soyang’ range.

Bought in two rolls (1370x30m) – one 550gsm – the other the cheaper 350gsm that I was going to keep for indoor stuff / short term.

Been using the 550 for a few months now and it performs well…a little bit ‘rigid’ compared to top grade £££ a roll stuff, but is an excellent bright white, very sturdy and take the ink quite well.

Tried out the budget stuff today on 16 banners (2 x 0.6m) – at £cheeeeeep a roll I wasn’t expecting much. But no, BETTER ink penetration and a better looking print result that it’s more expensive relative…not the same rear finish quality or thread count, but admirable none-the-less.

Come on then Dave how much?

I’ve been buying mine from Europoint, 510gsm – 50m roll 1370mm £64+VAT. Prints beautiful, heavy roll to start with though so get some help and unwind it from the roll so the machine doesnt bring up a feed motor error half way through.

    Best wishes

Prices are on the Victory site,

It’s 10% cheaper to order online as opposed to calling them.

We buy Soyang also, We went through approx 65 rolls last year with only one bad batch which was replaced with no hesitation.

We have been buying the 550 for over a year. Its an excellent product and its fire rated I dont think you will find cheaper fire rated banner, anywhere else.

And now they have a new fire rated version of the 440 which is even cheaper and with quality results.

    Cheers Stephen
