i was thinking and was getting a little stumped with an outcome of a situation but here goes

you have a client who has used you for many years and you deal direct with them

now this client gets some work also done via a marketing company

the marketing company contacts you to do work for the client but via them

what if the company comes to you for a price on the same work you have already priced out via the marketing company? they will have obviously put their mark up on it

    anyone had this dilema before?

We would have the marketing company on trade pricing if they wanted. Meaning they could charge what we would charge a retail customer and they can make a margin on it.

If you’ve already given the client the price give the marketing company the same price or offer them trade pricing in the hope of more work.

The marketing company get paid anyway for providing their expertise in marketing.
