  Where can i get photos of famous people

  Any ideas? I would like to print at quite a large size, people like marilyn monroe, Charlie chaplin etc plus a few modern ones as well. Obviously i would have to buy and am concerned about copyright issues.

  Have you tried Getty?

  Expensive but worth it.

  You would need to be a Getty to afford a license to print a Monroe image!

  I think Harry C once looked into it….

  Thanks for that the stock image sites seem to have plenty of stand ins but not the real thing. There seem to be quite a few people selling this type of image so they must be getting them from somewhere

  Try Wikimedia Commons. I’ve found some gems in the past – out of copyright / public domain.
