    Hi Stuart,
Macal 8900 is a 3-4 year vinyl – I use the 9800 as it has a longer life at up to 7-8 years, they are used for vehicle lettering and signage.

    Cheers John

Hi we use the 8900 but only the matt for short term exhibition graphics. The Mac Tac 9800 is our preference for everything else..
    Cheers

Stuart. The 8900 series has an adhesive which makes it easily removable without glue residue, even after a fair period of time.
Therefore it gets used for short term/exhibition work where removing it easily is prime.
The more common 9800 series is 2 dimensionally conformable vinyl suitable for all general sign work and vehicles.
