    Hi all

Can any one help me with this when i put a full roll of vinyl in the printer for a cut only job it will feed fast and it snags the role hard causing it to error is their any settings that i can change rather than spooling off a load of vinyl by hand to reduce the weight?

    Thanks Neil.

Is your brake on or off?

    hi,
we have had a similar problem with some heavy rolls. Are you using the plastic inserts? They help, make sure brake is off, and we always unravel a couple of meters of material to help with the weight issue.(and with some heavy lonas, manually pull when it is running through)

If it is happening all the time: motor error message then speak to the person you bought the machine from, for instructions on ho to check if the motor is knackered it can happen.

the other option is to disable the automatic pull through option, but if you do this you must make sure that A you have enough media, and B it is alligned correctly if it is a long or very wide print.

hope that helps, it drove me barmy for a while!!

    Hi Neil,

Try slower setting. Had the same problem when we got our new cutter, we had it on a fast speed. 50M roll and it kept snagging, we lowered the speed and it works fine.

Pulling out lengths of vinyl at start can some times twist the vinyl when it reaches the end of the pull out ( hope that makes sense ) and cause jamming.

dont know if its on the versacamm but on my soljet you can also adjust the pen up speed, which is handy.
