    Please can someone tell me if there is a product called DIABOND if there is fine, if not please will people spell DIBOND proper like wot I douz!

    Here’s something that will throw you even further. It’s pronounced Dee bond not Die bond. I got this directly from their South American sales rep. Most people pronounce it Die bond and they don’t bother correcting them.

    I know a guy in my town who has the registration D13OND wonder how much they would pay for it?
    hes called Dave Bond, fisherman not sign maker lol

    Also, Dibond has become a generic name for ally composite, like Hoover for vacuum cleaner.
    I wonder how many people quote for Dibond and use another brand.

    Ach, just call it aluminium composite & be done with it!

    (Then it lets you sell di-bond, alucobest, sky bond, ri-bond…)

    …or should that be aloooooo-min-um for our colonial cousins 😉

    Its like Tesco savers cola will still get called coke,

    I say aluminium composite as invariably customers will ask what dibond is ands then you have to say, "well its an aluminium composite" anyway,
    may as well just say what it is in the first place eh?

    I usually have some small samples on hand anyway so they can see it rather than try and understand. 😛
