Ok, long story short, bought a new laptop with Vista, it is a Dell Inspiron 8600 which was identical to my old one, only younger, less bashed etc. Have been using the old hardrive in it for a while, it finally gave up. I have been setting up the Vista HD, I noticed today that Word has a lot of the fonts that I used have on the old Hard Drive……I don’t understand, I havent transferred anything from the old comp…..how did that happen?….anybody know? 🙁
    Thanks

    Hi Dave,
Still can’t figure this one, I mean when I open my new version of Word all my fonts from the old Hard Drive are there……yet when I installed Corel X3 last night it only has the standard font list. (?)

if i can remember you have to format any new hard drive for vista to recognize it, i had to do so with a new external drive, dont know if this has any relevance to your problem harry, but thought id meantion it 😀
