  We always overlap 2-5 mm to allow for some shrinking.

  I think NOT overlapping would be a very bad idea….. stand by for the re-work.

  I generally work with 5mm, but you would probably find 2mm enough as previously mentioned

  definitely overlap, starting from the rear of the vehicle working forwards so that the overlap is facing back, and doesn’t collect dirt.
