Have just ordered a 10 x 5 sheet of skybond from Europoint.

Needs to be attached to 2 poles which are 8 feet apart and the poles are 3.5 inches diameter.

sign is going to be double sided. Can anyone suggest how I attach this to the poles and where I can get fittings from?

This is the first time I have used skybond material

you will need to rivet or VHB tape sign channel rails on the rear.
minimum of 4 rails per panel.
you will also need pole clips and back-to back clips.
various different styles of clips available these days for this type of thing…

you could try d. gibsons in rutherglen

I would exercise some caution with using 2 posts of only 3.5 ins. diameter on a panel as big as 10 x 5. They are not really substantial enough for a panel this size – cover yourself by telling the client of your concern (I’m assuming the posts are already in place and your clients wants to use them anyway).

Can I ask how you are intending to make a double sided sign on one 10 x 5 with posts 8 ft apart and rails applied to rear?

Just curious that I may be missing something.

Have already expressed concern about this sign to the customer but they insist this is what they want. It’s also a very open area and gets the wind all the time!!!

    Thanks for the advice folks.

Get the client to hold the sheet in the exact location and see how long it is before they end up on their ar*e…… :lol1:
