Hi folks, forgive me if this has been covered. I’ve been trying to solve an issue for a while now with mixed results, none of which have been successful.

I can’t seem to get the Roland profile library in Corel X3 to match the output of the color chart provided in Versaworks.

I’ve matched a customers color to ST12I via the color chart, and then I choose that same color in Corel, export as EPS or PDF and then open it with Versaworks…. I am using the material profile for Orcal’s 3651 series vinyl that I use, and the color (green) comes out much too light.

Any help would be much aprpeciated.

It appears I have answered my own question, all I needed to do was post first and like magic I found the answer…

In Versaworks settings for a queued job, I choose "file format" and then tick the box marked "convert spot colors" and that does the trick. The color is produced identical to the chart provided within Versaworks.

    🙂
