    Non Embroidery people…look away….
Went to a show last week and the new CorelX4 /Wilcom Digitising Software was demonstrated. Now it is possible to "design" in Corel (vector) and in the same program convert to digitise all in one. Not perfectly digitised but pretty damn good. I know auto digitising is not the best but with a few alterations to the digitising it looked set to go on the embroidery machine. How it would do complecated designs I have no idea but with simple it seems to work a treat.
Good if you want to update your Corel and Wilcom software at the same time. 4000 pounds ish for the full package but upgrades available for Wilcom owners.
    Corel Wings is no more.

I think the software is better known as Wilcon’s Deco Studio. It’s based on CorelDraw.

I saw a demo of it at a show I went to a while back, very impressive.

Saw the X3 version back in march and was very impressed. Will have a look into X4 in the new year as it will be time to upgrade.

Is it a new version of the embroidery side or just the coreldraw side of the software?

From what I could see it is just the embroidery that is upgraded or new. Corel X4 is the same.
