    Hello,

I was given a tip by a Roland guy at the Bristol show to use an off cut of an old fleece on top of the flock and press onto that. I have not had a go yet but he said the texture from the off cut forms into the fleece.
Try it and let us know.

    Thanks

    Ian

Only use flock on fleeces, you can press it on direct, normal vinyl will buckle and crease and go all wrinkly after the first wash, and small letters will just come away,
flock is the only thing that I have found that stays looking good.

Thanks for that info will give it a go with the flock material, do you need a special blade to cut flock material or will the blade I use for normal cutting of vinyl work ok ?

You will need a different blade for flock.

It will become compressed and look kinda horrible at first, the material raises after the first wash though. We’ve done screen printed transfers and cut transfers (Poliflex) without any problems.

You will need a 60 degree blade to cut flock
