Sings in polystyrene cellular plastic
Hi!
I’ve been quoted by a customer to do some signs in polystyrene cellular plastic. Has anyone worked with this material before? Any heads up? Should I have someone do them for me and charge the customer hte priced I was charged plus a extra fee?By the way the signs are about 350 x 250 mm and they are a total of 25.

What I’m acutely wondering is if I can do this by hand or it’s too much of a hassle. Does any one of you do this kinds of products? Maybe I can buy this from someone in here? Just let me know.

I assume you mean the material called expanded polystyrene, that being the case you will need a hot wire cutter to cut it, probably cheaper to buy it in.
I notice that you make no mention of the thickness.Steve

As you probably notice I’m a newbie when it comes to this field, so I actually thinking of buying it from someone else.
Is these always done by hand or a machine is used? like the ones used in wood carving? -
Yes there are cad controlled hot wire machines. Although I think a lot of people still cut by hand.
