    Hi,

Has anyone got a template or any advice on what vinyl to use to do a white checker board effect on a ford Ka / mini roof.

    Thanks

Never done a roof yet Ian but if I was asked tommorow I would use regular 751 and start with a strip of squares 3-4 deep running down the middle length ways and work out from there.

    any decent vinyl will do
the mini site has the pictures but a little tip, leave the corners as the original roof colour, it make all the squares "square"
The mini starts with 2 at the front and then 3 across.

The ones I have done for the new Minis are done like Peter said, 2, then 3 from the front. We shape ours at the front and sides though to follow the curve of the roof although its not completely necessary.

There seems to be a trend at the moment that is seeing loads of checkerboard roofs on VWs too.
