VW Crafter front door graphic
Hi All
Has anybody worked on a VW Crafter, it has that indent running in to the front door, I need to apply a large square on the door and am not sure if I need to use a conformable vinyl to heat in to that recess or will ordinary vinyl be OK.
It has to be printed so I guess calendared vs cast(wrap)
any help

Where possible feed it in, if you do this calendered will be ok, if not possible then cast will be needed.

You can’t really feed it in because the recess starts at nothing and gets deeper towards the rear.
However, it isn’t very deep and, as I’m guessing that you’re not going right to the rear of the door, (the deepest bit) I think that a decent make of calendered would be more than adequate.

John, it is going to be a square logo on the door so will start near the front of the door and end near the handle (this is the width) will I get away with a calendered vinyl on this or is it safer to use a cast?

Provided you adhere to all the normal rules on cleaning, which I’m sure you do anyway, I don’t see a problem with calendered.
