  Anyone here have the Jv5? Thoughts on it?

  I’m looking at getting one of these machines and I wanted your input on it?

  I don’t necessarily need it to run that fast – but a bit faster than my JV33 would be nice.

  Are you able to notice much banding with it even when a few nozzles aren’t firing? With that being said – how well does the clogged nozzle sensor work at eliminating banding even when a few nozzles go down?

  Also, when printing on adhesive vinyl – high quality mode (say 1440dpi) would is a resaonable speed you can get without any quality issues?

  I don’t have one but this was in consideration when we added additional printer. Everything seemed pretty fine with them machine. I was more interested in the speed and scratch resistance of the prints. Both these were very good. I had some tests done on banner and the speed was great with no banding. Prints coming off the printer were very scratch resistant. It’s a big machine and looks well built.

  I haven’t operated one so can’t give you much input there.
