does anyone have problems with Arlon 6000x?
Is anyone aware of any issues with the arlon 6000 escape bubble free vinyl. We had ordered some from our trade print supplier victory,
(yes i i know of the issues with them but have not found anyone else who can supply me with trade price printed vehicle wrap material, open to suggestions tho)
but i have been told there is a quality problem with the arlon at the moment, they have stated that it is popping back up out of the recesses. They have offered a replacement of an Avery product but this seems to be a very thin option and also my fitters have stated previous issues with the promotional range they offered.
Is anyone aware of any issues with this arlon product or have suggestions of a good wrap alternative. It is to go all round a vivaro sportive with painted bumpers etc.Thanks

Arlon needs to be post heated to 120 degrees and not 90 degrees like Avery. This has been a major cause of the failures for incorrectly post heating the vinyl.

i am being told they wont even supply it as there is a fault know with the product. What product would you recommend ?

Avery 1005 Fleet the old MPI 1900 should be better in recesses not as easy to apply though.
Is this a recall by Arlon or is it people complaining its poping out?

don’t know i have just been told the material has been quarantined by victory as they believe it is the material at fault.
Have you ever used the standard arlon without the escape bubble free function as they are saying there should be no problems with this one?

Just the 6000? not the 6000X?
I’ve played with it I haven’t done a wrap it. I’m probably not experienced enough to use a non bubble free material and get the result I want.
But if your worried about recesses at etc I would be confident in using the material in terms of the durability of the install. Its comparable to the 1005 Fleet in terms of installation etc.

Its just the 6000x they say is at fault. Pops back out of recesses after 10min to a few hours they say. Strangely the sample they sent did but once i noted your comments on the heating to a higher temperature it has staid in fine, well over night so far with no problems with a sample they had sent me.
Thanks for the help, i am starting to think it may be them that cant get the stock.
