    Hi

I am trying to print some stickers for a customer but he wants them printing on clear vinyl so that he can put them on any color vehicle so that the white bits do not show up, But when i print them on clear vinyl the color does not seem deep enough and they only show up on white vehicles, This is the same when i try to make window stickers

    Can anyone help Thanks Neil

    Simple answer is you can’t.
Unless you have a printer that can lay white down first like a Gerber Edge.
The inks are translucent so look pasty on any other colour than white.
Your printer assumes it is printing to a white ground.

You could try running a double pass, which puts down twice the ink but it is very slow but subject to the colour you want it can help

As Mike has already said – the cmyk printing process relies on a white background to create colours. You need to explain this to you client. What he is asking for is not feasible. At the very best you will get very weak colours in the absence of white

It’s explained in laymans terms here:-
