    Hello Guys

need to know if anybody can suggest the company that will be able to 3d engrave into the Large crystal cube.
    Cube size must be 50sm X 50sm X 50sm.
File to be engraved in is the Project of the new building and surrounding area.

My customer has decided to make the presentation of a new project in the crystal cube and asked me to handle this, but unfortunately we are not able to engrave into such a huge crystal.

I have offered to make it layer-by-layer, but the idea was dismissed because of the risk of positioning different parts and mirroring some objects.

so if somebody can handle this project or can just suggest the company who will be able to do this, please advice?

im not sure of size you mention but i asked the exact same question to nigel pugh of grafityp a few months ago. grafityp sell allot of good lasers in various sizes but from memory, we drew a blank on it being done. sorry i cannot remember the reason it was dismissed.

my customer wanted a huge hologram outside his new office block being built just now. after much thought and research i found that it isnt possible for anyone to create one over 3ft high. would also only be possible to be seen in the dark.
i scrubbed the idea and thought about what you have said… this time a huge glass/crystal block on its edge, colour illuminated from below showing the company logo encapsulated in the core of the glass. obviously this would be done using a laser… i got the idea from some cubes i bought at alton towers a few years ago with 3d heads of my family in them which sits on a little led mount. looks great! my idea was to create a supersize verion of this compaies logo in the same way. in short, it wasnt possible… or at least i couldnt find a source. 😕

I just had one of those done of the family last week. Fascinating to watch it being done. Ours was done with a red laser.
Sorry but no help to the post above.

    Thanks.
I was also told by manufacturer of the glass crystals, the such a huge cube will need to be cooled during 6 months in order not to get any cracks inside and after there are maybe a few research companies that can do such a big engraving inside, however I doubt to find them.
