Can anyone tell me where I’ll be able to get parts for the summa d120

I’m after grit rollers, bearings and anything else to do with the clamping down of the vinyl as its been running offline lately so I’m going to give it a service. Its about 3-4 years old but its had a hard life.

or am I better just ringing where I bought it? I’ve actually got 2, one is from victory and one is from signmaster so I suppose i could ring them if i don’t get any joy on here.

    thanks stuart

First off, have you got play in the grit roller, and second I have never heard of the "grit" wearing away, maybe its the spring on the clamps that are getting weak? or the top clamp rollers that need replacing?

Dont know about parts, for summa, but a grit roller and bearings, may well cost more than an older plotter is worth?

Our summa d610 had a problem with tracking some time ago – this was cured when an engineer fitted new top clamp rollers. Parts are expensive though, and were supplied by the engineer.

It did cross my mind if it would be an uneconomical repair. think I’ll try and find a price for the parts and make my mind up.

    thanks

try edward mathias, they’re a summa stockist / agent, i recently enquired about some parts (to convert my machine to opus) and the prices seemed pretty reasonable.
