hi all i have a repair job to do
basically it is a shaped alupanel sheet approx 1800 x 900
shaped like a starfish type half sun !
need to fit with stand offs not bothered about drilling through panel to fit fixings as i have vinyl to fit over the front are there some available as only ones i can find are glued to the reverse of the sheet. and i am worried about the size and weight as the original has come away

or any other suggestions to fitting

    thanks

    derek

Grafityp, Fairfield Displays, Mid-West Displays do some that ‘bolt’ through the panel leaving a cap on the front. If done right could form part of the design or blend in as Im sure you could spray them.

You might be able to use the stand-off but hold in place with countersunk sockethead screws. The ones I got from Grafityp use about 6mm threaded rod between the standoff body and the outer cap.

I get the A2 stainless sockethead screws from Sea Screw

how about fixing some rectangular hollow section aluminum to the wall
and then fixing on the panel with double sided foam tape. If the aluminum lengths are long enough, there should be a great enough bonding area
to secure the panel, although I’d still prefer to have some countersunk
screws as well, just in case the panel buckles up when it warms up in the
    sun.
