  • need a match please for Bentley Pantone Colour/ral6012

Hey, I’m currently trying to do a sample print for Bentley Motor’s But its a sub job for someone else so can’t go asking bentley direct and they don’t have a clue. All I’ve been told is it ral:6012 which in printing doesn’t help me at all as I dont have a ral swatch to match to and the equivalent isn’t in mactacs. So my question is does anyone know the pantone that matches ral:6012 or does anyone know what the pantone colour is for the dark green bentley use on there literature? Help asap would be great as this is slowly turning into a nightmare and I need to get it sent out today. Thanks in advance 😉 lex

Not really a great match – 5467 is in the right area. It’s a muddy greeny grey colour.

Pantone 350 was green used, I have original art work from RR,
dont know if the colour has changed though since the were taken over?

Beware they guard their logos with vigour, I know of a business that were made bankrupt by using an unauthorised rr and bentley logo

Its no problem we are genuinely doing the work for bentley, but many thanks for the info. They are saying it is a dark green. 😕

I’ve managed to find this http://www.radiator-poland.com/gfx/PALETA%20RAL.pdf which is saying that the nearest cmyk is c100m80y100k20 ???

pms 350cv is a dark green

They also give c100 m5 y90 k80 on my artwork
but that doesnt match the pms 350

If 350 is the pantone then the ral you have been given is a fair way off! Looks a better colour though.

    RAL 6012 cmyk match would be 100 80 100 60ish

if you put the cmyk you gave into photoshop it gives pms553 which is not far off pms350.
