versaworks profiles!!

Hi All,
i recently wiped a pc and reinstalled versaworks 2.6.2! I have updated the software since reinstalling but not all the profiles have returned!

I am not talking about the product profiles that I have added but some of the original profiles that came with it when it was initially installed??

I have spoken to my roland dealer who didnt come up with any answers, does anyone know where I can get my grubby mitts on them??

i am particulary after the artist matte canvas one, as we have just had a reorder on some canvas prints, and i do not want to use a different profile in case they turn out a different colour.

any help appreciated

this is where local roland rep sent me, but unfortunately it just has product profiles not the versaworks originals!

I had a quick look at that also Chris, no profile for canvas though. I use the LCAN canvas but no profile on grafiyp site either. I always print onto it through print and cut manager and use a Roland profile that was in there originally.

i use lcan, and have always used the profile that was there, but now its gone! Do you still have it on your version? Could you tell me what its called excatly??

i use a allprint one for vinyl on my canvas.
are these original profiles not on the install disk.

Hi chris,
no ive searched the disk for them, I think they were part of one of the upgrades, but they seem to have disappeared. I am missing about 25 profiles I think. Which is a bit of a nightmare for repeat business jobs!

what printer are you running, i have it in my Version 2.6.2 i’m running a Soljet SC545EX V. I would forward it to you but not a member anymore so can’t PM.

I am running versacamm SP-540V. I havent read the rules for a while, If I was to put my email address would it be removed??

yeah it would be, don’t know if my version would be any good to you either mine is a 6 colour & yours a 4 plus being a different machine. Versaworks is very protective with inks & profiles that are not mean’t for the machine it as listed.

I have googled the profile and got to the roland profile downloader but it does not have any profiles for versaworks just earlier programs, They seem to want you to auto upodate which I have been doing but the profiles arent there, so Ive sent a email to the tech support section. Will let you know what comes back!!

lesson learnt though back up media explorer in versaworks before wiping pc in future!

hi,

i have same problem for a year now.
flock + dye sub. i just cant find a good profile for this.
even the ink company dont have a profile for flock!!

all my color output is wrong 🙁
