44′ Mural graphics: the breadstall
Wrapped inside and out (except ally frame work)
Mac 9800 for the plain stuff, and oracal for the print and laminate.
The inside wall was a complete length of blackboard vinyl.Taken from a pen and ink drawing, supplied by client.
The guy does good bread if you are passing near, just off Batersea rise.

Really curious looking outfit.
Your graphics would be a head turner though mate.
Really impressed with that. Black and white can be just as impressive as colour in the right situation.

Mark, time wise the mural took about 6 hours to apply, the rest of the trailer was done in bits and pieces as the trailers were being built but total time was about 4 days (me on me own)
Shane it’s 2 trailers, back to back, the wheels are hydraulic and retract into the floor, and the tow frame is removable. so in still a mobile stall to comply with council regs.

Did you spend longer looking at it after finishing than you did doing the job? I would have.
These mobile catering units are being designed better and better all the time. Only a matter of time until one can fly…

Excellent and very different work.
Amazing how the Council will let this take up road space if they get paid enough. It’s on a yellow line and breaks out of the lined area.
To think that just pulling in for a bread roll can get you a £60 fine.
And some councils are fining people for putting "for sale" notices in their cars as it’s deemed as street trading.
It smacks of double standards to me. -

I live just off Northcote Road and have bought the odd roll from the Breadstall in the past. It was quite a thing to see the new additions to the street the other day.
I was really impressed with the signage and wondered who and how it had been done. It has certainly been a talking point for the area!
It has made my day to read all about it here. Brilliant.

Ha ha .. the Holy Drinker is a little too ‘trendy’ for me so even if I could afford it I would probably choose not frequent the place. 😛
As you rightly say, you can’t buy pints there! That can never be good ..
My current ‘local’ is The Goat on Battersea Rise. A great little atmosphere but as with everything, things are getting expensive these days!

So this was printed on white peter?
How difficult was it to get everything lined up for all the drops?

lining up was not to bad, but it was helped by a little tip from Jason 😀
I over stretched one drop. but manage to reclaim it by the next one, luckily there was a lot of plain black to loose the excess into.Peter

Can you tell us the lining-up tip? I’ve found that with any big digital print job one of the most time consuming bits is trying to get the prints to line up properly.
