  what kind of brushes do i need for signwriting?

  Hello,
  I fancy having a go at traditional sign writing in my spare time, I have a good book that was recommend on here.

  Could some kind soul suggest a couple of good brushes and any other useful tools that i will need to start off with?

  I started out using brown quills but have switched over to metal-ferruled "pencils" I believe you call them.
