  • where can i source Swinging Sign Frames please?

    Hi all,

I’ve got a big job to quote on replacing signs for a local hotel, but the signs all have a wooden frame around them i was going to re use the frames but most of them are rotten, does anyone know where i can get a frame suitable for swinging signs, preferably wooden but not to fussed? I can’t seem to find one anywhere.

    Cheers

    Phil

Could always make one yourself, its not that hard, even better if you get a trade account with your local building supplies yard (Jewsons etc). Its fun to do and the mark-up is well worth the work. :lol1:

Hi Phil – I read your post on swing signs as wall mounted or post mounted – have I got the wrong end of the stick (won’t be the first time) or are you talking about pavement furniture (A-boards) as Rob has mentioned?

i think i know the type you mean phil, but i dont know a trade supplier.
i personally would build them myself… i dont think its that difficult to do… (easy for me to say i know)

they are post mounted almost like a double sided picture frame. i’m going to do as suggested and try to build them up myself, i’ll let you know how i get on.

    Cheers All,

    Phil

Get the router & the mitre saw out or use Jag.

Jag also do the metal work for these types of signs.
