    at a Tshirt.
As you know John has been keeping you posted about our recent purchase. So tonight we thought we’d put it to the test and see if it was all working properly. So here’s our first T.
Everything seemed to be working as it should. 🙂

You are right Robert……cut Xpres vinyl……….it will take a little while to find our feet with this but I am sure we will get there………..I ordered some flock as well.
Not tried a mug, mouse mat or coaster yet…still need to open the new printer box 😳 I enquired about getting a custom profile written for my ink, thanks to Stephen Morriss for the website but will print some mugs etc. up to see if I need to get it done.

I can see this costing me as Emily has gone into t shirt design overdrive

    :lol1:

will let you know once we have it all unpacked and working! The printer isn’t even out of the box yet. Need to organise the room and make space.
(In other words, tidy and throw out loads of cr@p I have lying everywhere 😳 )
But keen to see how the other bits work. 🙂

Did you do know you should be using a 60 degree blade for cutting flock?
just thought Id ask, as not everyone starting out knows.

    Thanks Steve..I’ll get one ordered.

How small can you reasonably go cutting flock?

Glad its going well so far 🙂
smallest I’ve managed to realistically get with flock is about a 1mm square dot over an "i" i’s and such are a pain. Can go smaller with flex though but needs careful weeding. Some fonts are obviously a pain – my company logo uses Niagara engraved which is impossible to get small enough in flock for a pocket logo but I just dont cut the middle bits out and its fine. I can do it in flex easily. Its a shame flex isn’t as un sticky as car type vinyl as its a pain to weed.
The fluorescent and various other special effect flexes are great too but some are total pain to weed – the sparkle is horrible but looks good when done.

Looks good but I think you cut a bit off the ‘g’ and the circle. Otherwise, great
