  can anyone help please with Corel X4 problem?

  Hi Help !!

  We started out at the budget end of the market and are slowing working our way up !!

  I have just got CorelDRAW X4 – with the view to converting logos we are given to vectors and cutting..

  I am ok with tracing the bitmaps and exportig as .EPS and .AI files but when i try and open them in WINPCLETTER 😳 to cut on my Redsail Plotter 😳 nothing happens.

  A pal of mine says i need to put a cut line round the logo but we both dont know how !!

  Any help greatly appreciated..

  Also i am not a fan of Win pc Sign – what does everyone else use ?

  I would try exporting as AI and using a fairly low version. Click on text to curves and off everything else ie ‘simulate complex curves/fills etc.
  X4 does a pretty good job of expoting and you can always check by importing back into Draw.

  Thanks Alan,

  Just playing and in fact it wont import anything !!

  I am beggining to wonder if its not me after all, when i click to import the screen just flashes and i end up with a blank screen again….

  Is there an cut software i can download from anywhere to try ?

  I have tried Signcut and the logos work but can’t get my cutter to work with it !!
